Why is there a United top in a drop dedicated to Liam, you ask?
Simple. Before the biggest event of 2025 — the Oasis reunion — R Kid recorded an album with another Mancunian legend, John Squire of The Stone Roses. And as I’m sure you know, he’s a United fan (the only good thing about Man Utd is “This Is the One” before kickoff — thank you, Gary Neville).
The vinyl came half red, half blue, and if you’re a fan of the record, there was also a tour T-shirt — available here on stereotypes.fun.
Now, as a Liverpool fan but also a Stone Roses aficionado, I thought I’d wear this occasionally on my visits to adidas HQ in Herzogenaurach. Turns out I just couldn’t. It’s a beautiful product, but I felt weird even having it on while shooting it…
